Tomorrow, Monday, Oct. 19, is the deadline to vote on Nov. 3. South Dakota has no same-day or online registration.

A haunted barn with a message.

Friday, neighbors turned an 1896 barn near Crooks into “The Town That Went Silent.” It's a haunted house about a town where people stopped speaking up.

On the way out, you could check your registration and pull up your ballot. It was a labor of love, and proof that getting out the vote can be fun.

Data centers: your say is coming.

A data center campus is proposed on 164 acres in northeast Sioux Falls, and the city is writing new rules. A council committee will take public input this fall, starting Nov. 9.
